Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge is a bridge in New York City. It crosses the East River and connects Manhattan and Brooklyn. After a construction period of 14 years, during which more than 600 workers were employed, the bridge was opened in 1883. It is crossed by an estimated 150,000 vehicles and pedestrians every day, which adds up to around 55 million a year.
