Eindhoven

Eindhoven is a city in the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant. Like Amsterdam, it is the largest city in the province, but not the capital, in this case it is ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

In 1891, the father-son pair Frederik and Gerard Philips founded the technology company Philips in Eindhoven. Today the company is headquartered in Amsterdam, but the company is sponsor of PSV Eindhoven and the name sponsor of the football club’s stadium.
