難波

In the south of Osaka, so-called Minami, is the district of Namba. With countless bars, restaurants, pachinko and game halls and nightclubs, it is one of the most important entertainment districts in the Japanese city.

Especially the Dōtonbori canal with the nearby nightlife locations and the large buzzling signboards is very popular with tourists.

There is also one of the landmarks, the Kani Dōraku crab. A six and a half meter crab in front of a restaurant. It is not the only oversized mascot, they can be found above many restaurants in the area.
