National Palace Museum Taiwan

The National Palace Museum of Taiwan has a permanent collection of nearly 700,000 pieces from 8000 years of history. A fraction of these pieces can be seen in the National Palace Museum’s main building in Taipei. The building was built in the 1960s in the Shilin district in the north of the city. Over the years it has been renovated and extended.
