Bregenz

Bregenz is a city in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg. Like Konstanz and Lindau, the city is also located on Lake Constance.

The city is known nationwide, especially for the Bregenzer Festspiele. The cultural festival takes place every year in summer and features the world’s largest lake stage.

Pfänder

At the outskirts of the city of Bregenz is the 1064 m high mountain Pfänder. A cable car takes you from the valley station in Bregenz to the top station of Mount Pfänder at 1022 m. At this altitude you have a wide view of Lake Constance and the surrounding Alpine peaks.
