In the Indian Ocean lies the island of Bali. Bali belongs to Indonesia and together with some neighbouring islands forms the province of Bali. On their lives around 4.2 million people and are members of Balinese Hinduism.
Since the 1980s Bali has developed into one of the main tourist destinations in Indonesia. Tourism now accounts for 80 percent of the island’s economy.
On the coast of Bali is a rock formation on top of which is the pilgrimage temple Pura Tanah Lot.
At high tide you have to go through the water to reach the temple.
Another attraction is the Water Blow Bali. It is a natural spectacle in which waves hit the jagged cliffs and create high water fountains. How high the water fountains are depends on the water level and the season.
